Theory Course Rules and Regulations

  • Due to the confidential nature of the clinical material used to illustrate theoretical concepts during the theory courses it is preferable that participants have an acknowledged clinical registration with the HPCSA. However, if this is not the case please contact the facilitator of the course to discuss the matter in order to come to some agreement.
  • Subsequent to registering for a course, please confirm with the facilitator a week in advance of the start-date whether or not you are still able to attend. There are a limited number of spaces for each course and failure to arrive for the course deprives someone else of the opportunity to enroll, so cooperation regarding this issue would be appreciated.
  • Please note that it will not be possible to attend isolated lectures. It is also important to commit to the complete series of lectures for each course as there is logical progression to the development of ideas and missing seminars is likely to leave a theoretical gap.
  • Payments can be made by depositing the fee into the IPCP bank account.
  • The course will start promptly at the given time. Please be on time each week.
  • During the course it will be necessary to acquaint yourself with a number of primary texts. Commitment to the course therefore involves not only the weekly seminar time but additional reading time.
